A coin missing in many 5 cents collections!

1925 is a key date, which means that the mintage for the coins issued for that year is very low compared to other years. This 5 cents piece has a mintage of only 200 050 compared to an average of 3.5 million for the other coins in that series (1922-1936). This is the reason why it is missing in most 5 cents collections! As a reference, 5 cents today have an approximate mintage of 230 million.
